Donations

The Sir Robert Menzies Memorial Trust was formed in 1978 and its public appeal raised $6.2 million. The funds were invested and a non-political, not-for-profit organisation called the Sir Robert Menzies Memorial Foundation was established in 1979. The Foundation's funds consist of the income from its investments, supplemented by some private donations and bequests.

Form of Bequest
The following simple form of bequest may be adapted for use by persons intending to benefit The Menzies Foundation by their wills.

"I GIVE to the Sir Robert Menzies Memorial Foundation Limited of 210 Clarendon Street, East Melbourne to be applied for the purposes of the Foundation the sum of $.............................. (or part or all of the residue of my estate) free of all duty and I DIRECT that the receipt of the Executive Director be accepted as a sufficient discharge for the same."
