Menzies Institute for Medical ResearchThe Menzies Institute for Medical Research exists to perform internationally significant medical research leading to healthier, longer and better lives for Tasmanians.

The Menzies Institute was established by the University of Tasmania with support from the Menzies Foundation and the Tasmanian Government in 1988 and was initially called the Menzies Centre for Population Health Research.

Since its inception the Menzies Foundation has provided an annual unconditional grant to the Menzies Institute for Medical Research to support its work.
