Jane Galvin2011 Menzies Scholar in the Allied Health Sciences

Jane holds a Master of Occupational Therapy (2007) and Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) (1991) from La Trobe University. Jane's PhD looks at the possibility of using virtual reality as a motivating and enjoyable way to engage children in repetitive rehabilitation activities following traumatic brain injury.

Originally from Bendigo, Jane is Senior Occupational Therapist at the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service, Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH), Melbourne and a group leader in neuro-rehabilitation research at the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute. She is also a board member of Occupational Therapy Australia and convenor of its Paediatric Special Interest Group.
