Current Biography

A skilled communicator adept at working with multi-disciplinary teams delivering large scale projects, Chris Beale has considerable experience in delivering project risk management services to clients across the property and infrastructure markets. Since moving into the risk management field nearly 20 years ago, he has supported over 500 projects spanning defence, property, transport, mining, water and infrastructure markets across Australia and abroad, building a strong reputation for delivering contingency analysis, feasibility study risk assessments, design risk, decision support studies and value management services that strongly support successful project delivery.

Starting his professional life as a production manager, Chris worked for a number of locations in Australia and the UK. After a stint spent working for the Queensland state government of the day as a ministerial advisor to the Minister of Industrial Relations, he moved into the risk management field. Since then, his clients have benefited from the unique insight into infrastructure projects; as a qualified engineer and experienced production manager Chris has a clear understanding of the technical aspects of construction projects coupled with an astute awareness of the political and legislative realities in which they must operate.

Chris is a member and past Queensland president of the Risk Management Institution of Australasia, member of Engineers Australia, Risk Engineering Society and associate member of the Australian Institute of Project Management.
