Scholarship biography (at time of award)
Alexandra West holds a First Class Honours degree in law and Arts from the University of Melbourne. She has a particular interest in financial services policy, negotiations and corporate social responsibility.
Alexandra was awarded the Scholarship to complete a Masters in Public Administration at Harvard University.

Alexandra advises CEO's and senior executives of superannuation funds and asset managers. She brings international experience as a strategy consultant, senior manager, and negotiator.
Prior to establishing her consulting business, Alexandra was Director of Strategy with Fidelity Investments in the USA, where she led teams to define and implement the fund's strategy and new business development initiatives. As a Manager with McKinsey & Company's Global Financial Services Practice, she consulted to CEO's across the world on strategy and organisational change.
While practicing as a lawyer with Freehill Hollingdale & Page, she advised organisations on superannuation, funds management and corporate governance.
As a Menzies Scholar, Alexandra was awarded a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University. She specialised in financial services policy, negotiations and corporate social responsibility. She was elected as a Director of the Harvard Mediation Program Board in 2004. Alexandra also holds a First Class Honours degree in Law and Arts from the University of Melbourne.
Alexandra is currently responsible for innovation, strategy and strategic investment partnerships at Cbus - a $35 billion superannuation fund. Her initial work with Cbus led to it being awarded the 2016 World Pension Summit Innovation in Investments Award.
