Scholarship biography (at time of award)
Alisa Selimovic graduated from Flinders University with a Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering. In addition to earning First Class Honours, Alisa was awarded a University Medal from Flinders University and a second University Medal from Engineers Australia.
Alisa was awarded the Scholarship to complete a DPhil in Engineering at The University of Oxford which will focus on creating patient-specific models of cerebral aneurysm evolution. The research is aimed at gaining a better insight into the mechanisms of the disease, and, ultimately, to assist with clinical decision-making.

Strong interest in healthcare and technology, and in particular the commercialisation of early-stage technologies. Experience in pharmaceutical and life-science strategy consulting, M&A, licensing, and development of strategic relationships. Background in Biomedical Engineering, focused on medical devices and computational modelling of vascular disease.
