Scholarship biography (at time of award)

Fiona Dobson holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) and a Graduate Diploma (Health Research) with First Class Honours from La Trobe University.

Fiona was awarded the Scholarship to complete her PhD project entitled "Gait classification in children with cerebral palsy: a systematic review" at La Trobe University and the University of Melbourne.

Current Biography

Fiona started working in the lab as a research physiotherapist in 1996. She then followed on to work in 3D gait analysis in the gait laboratory and completed her PhD in 2007 on the classification of gait patterns in children with cerebral palsy. Prior to coming to the RCH Fiona worked at the Kingston Centre Movement Disorders Clinic working in adult neurology and researching falls and balance in Parkinsons disease.
