Scholarship biography (at time of award)

Matt Brown is an investment analyst who worked for an investment fund in San Francisco. He was formerly a pilot in the RAAF.

Matthew was awarded the Scholarship to complete a Master of Business Administration at the Harvard Business School and is interested in Australian investment opportunities and improving the management of Australia's superannuation capital.

Current Biography

I began my working career as a pilot in the Royal Australian Air Force. After completing further graduate studies at Oxford University, I left the military to pursue an investment career. I started in my current role while completing my MBA at the Harvard Business School and joined full time after graduating. Stockdale Street Ltd managers the Oppenheimer family office's global assets. We execute a multi-asset class approach through external fund managers in addition to some limited direct investment (similar to most U.S. university endowments).
