Current Biography

Sarah Harden is President of Otter Media, The Chernin Group’s (TCG) online-video focused venture with AT&T. Prior to Otter Media, Harden joined TCG as Executive Vice President in September 2013 where she played key roles in TCG’s majority stake acquisition of Crunchyroll, a leading global subscription and ad-supported video platform for Japanese anime; the formation of Otter Media with AT&T; Otter Media’s acquisition of a controlling stake in Fullscreen, a leading global youth media company and Fullscreen’s acquisitions of comedy and gaming company Roosterteeth and social marketing agency McBeard.

Prior to TCG Harden was Group Director, Partnerships and Development, Asia, at News Corporation where she was responsible for overseeing News’ joint ventures, investments and growth initiatives in Asia. Before moving to Asia, Harden spent four years in the role of Senior Vice President of Business Development for Fox Networks Group in Los Angeles; spent time at Ascent Media identifying and driving new business initiatives in the US, UK and Asia and was a co-founder at venture-backed Linkscape software in San Francisco. Harden began her career as a Senior Associate with The Boston Consulting Group in Melbourne, Australia. She is a graduate of University of Melbourne (Bachelor of Arts, Hons) and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School where she graduated as a Baker Scholar. Harden currently sits on the boards at Crunchyroll, Fullscreen and Gunpowder and Sky.
