Scholarship biography (at time of award)
Stefanie Wilkins graduated from the University of Adelaide second in her class of 200 with a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering with First Class Honours. After graduation, Stefanie worked as Associate to the Hon Justice Sulan.
Stefanie was awarded the Scholarship to complete a BCL at University College, University of Oxford.

Stefanie's doctoral thesis will consider the competing purposes and objectives of litigation funding and how they fit within the overall objectives of a civil justice system.
Stefanie initially came to Oxford as a Menzies Memorial Scholar in Law, and completed the BCL with distinction in 2009. She spent five years in practice working in large-scale commercial and insolvency litigation before returning to Oxford, having been awarded a joint Law Faculty and Corpus Christi College Charles Oldham Scholarship.
Stefanie was the coach of the 2015 University of Oxford team in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, and has taught Contract at the University of Adelaide. She has served as an Associate Editor of the Oxford University Commonwealth Law Journal.
Stefanie completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Adelaide, being awarded first class honours in both Law and Civil Engineering, before undertaking an Associateship at the Supreme Court of South Australia. She has also worked as an intern at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY).
