The Menzies Foundation is pleased to announce businesswoman Siobhan McKenna will join the Board.
Ms McKenna is Executive Chairman of Foxtel, Fox Sports and Australian News Channel (owner of Sky News Australia). She is also a director of Illyria Pty Ltd, Nova Entertainment, and two ASX-listed companies Woolworths and listed investment company AMCIL.
Chair of the Board Peter Jopling AM QC said Ms McKenna’s unique perspective and understanding of media and emerging technologies will support the Foundation to position itself in the leadership narrative and contribute to the discourse

Ms McKenna said she looks forward to contributing to the work of the Menzies Foundation, which is dedicated to identifying leadership challenges and building initiatives to address them.

The Menzies Foundation places considerable importance on the power of multi-sector collaborations to solve leadership challenges.
Mr Jopling said Ms McKenna brings a corporate perspective to the deliberations of the Menzies Foundation Board, which will be highly valued in supporting the Foundations ambition to raise the profile and importance of outstanding leadership for all Australians.
Ms McKenna is a former Commissioner of the Australian Productivity Commission, former Chairman of nbnCo, and a former Partner at McKinsey & Company. She holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from the Australian National University and a Master of Philosophy (International Relations) from Cambridge University. Her first novel, Man in Armour, was published by HarperCollins in 2020.
